Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Apprenticeship 2026
Eligibility will be determined as of 31 December 2025.
Educational Qualification
Technician Apprentice
- 3-Year Full-Time Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Civil / Electronics
- Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)
Trade Apprentice (ITI)
- 10th Pass + 2-Year ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trades such as Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Machinist, etc.
Graduate Apprentice
- Full-Time Graduation (BA / BCom / BSc / BBA)
- Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)
Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator
- 12th Pass (Below Graduate)
- OR 12th Pass + Domestic Data Entry Operator Skill Certificate
Age Limit (as on 31.12.2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
Age Relaxation
- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- SC / ST: 5 Years
- PwBD: 10 Years
Stipend & Benefits
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act, along with additional financial support:
- Government-prescribed stipend
- Additional ₹2,500/- per month paid by IOCL as miscellaneous expenses
- DBT Payment:
- Graduate & Technician Apprentices receive part payment from BOAT and the balance from IOCL
- Trade Apprentices receive a full stipend directly from IOCL
📌 While no DA/HRA/TA is provided, candidates gain industry-recognized training, certification, and PSU exposure.
